What is Arena Ball?

Competitive fun! Experience the adrenaline of games that demand quick moves and even quicker thinking. The program enables players to develop their skills under game conditions in a fun, structured and energetic environment.

Leadership! Our unique program empowers players to organize and coach themselves under the supervision of Sports Barn personnel.

Affect the culture! We believe more than ever that "sports in proper perspective" as a vital educational vehicle is still important. Arena Ball strikes a unique balance between fun, competition, and playing to win in an environment of empathy, encouragement, sportsmanship and respect.

Registration information

Cost/player: weekdays $160/Sat morning $195
Each time slot has 14 spots for 7 on 7 play.
You will play on the same day and time each week.
Want to play with your friends?
- Tell them to register online ASAP, as each day and time slot is first-come, first-served.
- Each player must register online separately. We will not hold spots for your friends.
Teams will be chosen each week. We will make our best effort to keep friends together on the same team, but after week one our first priority is a competitive game.
In the notes section please list one additional night your child can play in case we need a sub.

Baseball Ages 7 & 8: Instruction + Game

The Saturday morning baseball program for ages 7 & 8 is a structured program with HSB Coaches.

Time: 9:00 - 10:30 AM
Format: 45 minutes of instruction followed by a 45 minute coach-pitch game
Instructors: Hayner Academy Staff

Arena Ball FAQS

Can I form my own group? If you are interested in forming your own baseball or softball group to play, please email Norm@haynersportsbarn.com. We have 7:45-8:45 pm available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This is a popular option for travel teams who wish to play together. A minimum of 12 players is needed.

Who pitches? Hack Attack pitching machine, the most accurate machine on the market, takes the mound while a Sports Barn staff member “feeds” the machine and serves as umpire and game organizer. Baseball Ages 7 & 8 is coach pitch.

What should my athlete wear? Sneakers or turf shoes (no cleats). Players must bring their own bats and helmets. Sliding is allowed and can be done safely on our turf floor, but we strongly recommend long pants be worn!

Why is our "Barn Yard" high ceiling so important? Because hitting a home run is special! Our 30ft. ceiling and unique "Green Monster" make home runs challenging to hit but possible for all players.

Are home runs recorded? Home runs are recorded each game and HR standings are posted each week. A trophy will be awarded to the home run champion of each age division. Note: home runs do not count for players who fill in on nights they are do not normally play.
